Update: Funding Relief for Arts and Culture Organizations - Cultural Advocacy Coalition of Oregon

 
 
 
 
The Cultural Advocacy Coalition continues to work toward a relief proposal developed by the Oregon Cultural Trust and the Oregon Arts Commission and urges its rapid passage by the legislature. However, disbursements from the Cultural Trust are expected to be delayed and the Coalition will have more updates on relief options after we are able to hold a special session.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has developed The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act for qualifying small businesses and nonprofits. These loans are forgivable in some cases. We encourage our Oregon members to review the Coronavirus Emergency Loans Small Business Guide and Checklist.
