Community Placemaking grants support community-led, equity-focused, arts and culture based efforts.
Applications accepted Aug. 9 through Oct. 4 at noon
These grants support community-led, equity-centered, arts and culture-based efforts that strengthen people’s connections to each other and places they care about.
Arts or cultural activities bring people together to strengthen their connection to each other and the places they care about.
Eligible applicants include:
- Nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status
- Community groups or individual(s) partnering with a tax-exempt nonprofit fiscal sponsor
- Public agencies or institutions with close community partners
Businesses and individuals without a nonprofit partner are not eligible. All grant-funded activities must take place in Portland region’s urban growth boundary.
More money available this cycle!
Up to $450,000 (up from $200,000) will be awarded in grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000. No matching funds are required.
